He talked me through the problem and showed me other similar situations so I had a full understanding of what was occurring. He gave me various solutions and was quick to fix the issue. Polite, friendly and very efficient. Thank you very much!

FAQ
Emergency roofing questions
Straight answers from the LifeProof team. Something else? Call 0485 016 819.
Do you do emergency roof repairs?
Yes. Our emergency roofers provide rapid-response emergency roof leak repairs: make-safe works for active roof leaks and storm damage, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency make-safe works are designed to minimise further water ingress and protect your home until the permanent roof repair can be completed.
Who should I call when my roof is leaking?
A licensed roof plumber. Roof plumbing is licensed work in Victoria, and ours is licence 114431. Call our emergency roof plumbers any time: we stop the roof leak first, then find the cause and quote the permanent roof leak repair.
Can you stop a roof leak today and fix it properly later?
Yes. That is a make safe. It stops the water getting in now, it does not fix the cause, and it carries no warranty. We quote the permanent roof repair separately so you can decide on it without water coming through your ceiling.
What should I do while I wait for an emergency roofer?
Put a bucket under the drip and move anything valuable out of the way. If water is near light fittings or power points, switch the power off at the switchboard if it is safe to do so, and don't touch wet fittings. Stay off the roof, especially in the wet. That part is our emergency roofer's job.
Is an emergency make safe covered by your warranty?
No. A make safe carries no warranty: it stops the water tonight, it does not fix the cause, and we quote the permanent roof repair separately. Eligible completed roof repairs carry a 10-Year Workmanship Warranty. Where we repair one part of a roof, that part is warranted and the rest of the roof is not.
Do you repair storm damage and broken roof tiles?
Yes. We do emergency make-safe repairs for storm damage and active roof leaks, including broken or slipped roof tiles. If you need a formal roof condition report for an insurance claim, we can provide one. Additional fees may apply depending on the scope of reporting required.
Are you local emergency roofers in Melbourne?
Our emergency roofers cover Inner Melbourne, South East Melbourne and East Melbourne, including Camberwell, Kew, Balwyn, Glen Waverley, Blackburn, Box Hill, Doncaster, Malvern, Clayton, Mulgrave, Cheltenham and Berwick. If you are not sure whether we come to you, call and ask.
Are your emergency roofers licensed and insured?
Yes. We are licensed roof plumbers, licence number 114431, ABN 26 409 371 960, and we carry $10 million public liability insurance. Roof plumbing is licensed work in Victoria. Ask any roofer working on your roof for their licence number.
