How much do roof repairs cost in Melbourne?

Why does my roof keep leaking after previous roof repairs?
Usually because the cause of the roof leak was never found. Many roof repairs stop the visible leak instead of fixing why it happened, and roofs get sealed again and again with silicone or coatings. Those don't fix poor roof design, inadequate falls, undersized gutters, major corrosion, failed flashings or drainage defects. We find the root cause, not just the symptom.
What are the most common causes of roof leaks?
Cracked roof tiles, deteriorated flashings, rusted roof sheeting, leaking or blocked box gutters, failed sealants, inadequate overflows, poor workmanship, inadequate roof falls and defects in the original design. Many roof leaks come from a combination of these, which is why we inspect before we quote the roof leak repair.
Can a leaking roof be repaired without replacing the roof?
In many cases, yes. Roof leaks often come from isolated issues such as damaged flashings, cracked roof tiles, failed sealants, blocked gutters or localised corrosion. The roof inspection shows whether a targeted roof repair will do, or whether more extensive work makes more sense.
Do you do tile roof repairs and metal roof repairs?
Both. Tile roof repairs, roof tile replacement, re-bedding and repointing, and metal roof repairs including rust treatment, roof sheeting replacement, flashings, box gutters and roof drainage.

Are my roof repairs guaranteed?
Eligible roof repairs carry our 10-Year Workmanship Warranty. Ryan's rule: if we're redesigning anything or replacing any materials, we give a warranty; if we're just patching over the top of it, we don't. Where we repair one part of a roof, that part is warranted and the rest of the roof is not.
